Chemika is a privately owned contract testing laboratory servicing manufacturers of pharmaceutical and nutritional products for human and veterinary use. An opportunity exists for a recent graduate to join its team of exceptional analytical chemists. The laboratory undertakes a considerable scope of testing using instruments such as HPLC, GC, GCMS, AAS, ICP, TOC in addition to a wide variety of wet chemical techniques. The variety of equipment and excellent laboratory facilities make the position an ideal place to start a career in science.

Food Technologist Opportunity
Chippendale. 2-3 Month Contract. $60kpa.
Concrete Jungle is a food SME that has both café operations and R&D for the development of innovative food products. The company aims to create foods that make you feel good from the inside out. The plant-based menu is accompanied with ethically-sourced meats to promote the benefits of sustainable eating.
The company has an opening for a scientist with an interest in food technology for a 2-3 month contract (full time), with the possibility of extension if things go well. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for planning, executing and documenting the company’s R&D activity, withing the context of the company’s active operations. This will also contribute to the company’s R&D Tax Incentive claims.
The ideal candidate will be a great communicator and self-starter, comfortable with collaborating with colleagues from a broad range of educational and operational backgrounds. You will need to be extremely independent, with strong attention to documenting the evidence associated with your activity.
The position could suit a scientist or food technologist in the early period of their career.
