Careers

DCS Technical sets aside a budget for pro-bono work in assisting the next generation of young scientists. Particularly through the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (www.raci.org.au), DCS Technical has created a range of career-oriented resources for young scientists.

RACI Careers Development Programme. Available for free to all students and young scientists, the programme includes a wide range of resources (shown in the table below). Students can get on our mailing list simply by contacting me here at mentoring@raci.org.au

Then as an enhancement to the RACI Careers Development Programme, we have the RACI Mentoring Programme, where students are paired one-on-one with a mentor in their chosen field. Targeting students who will complete their studies in 2020 (undergrad or postgrad), more than 90% of our mentees graduate with jobs waiting for them.
